Little Ben & Jerry's

I almost always end up eating an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's, even though it's too much. I thought I'd give the smaller size a try, and see if it was satisfying.

The only flavor my local Safeway had in this size was Cherry Garcia. They were being sold for 4 for $5 (on sale).

First of all, these little things are even smaller than they seem. They have an extra compartment holding a stubby little spoon. The amount of ice cream is less than 4 fluid ounces.

Worse, the chunks of chocolate and cherry were much smaller! Isn't that what Ben & Jerry's is all about? Big Chunks?

Anyway, another failed experiment at ending my ice cream gluttony.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the lil Ben's. Haagen Daz also has little cups too in Southern California. Just picked three up the other night when I was jonesin' for plain chocolate ice cream. OMG SOOOooO good! I never finish a pint and then it gets the icky ice crystals on the ice cream by the time I want more. Blech!

Look for the Drumstick type ice cream cones they just came out with, miuch more satisfying, but still self limiting.

Seems like a lot of wasted cardboard box for that cone.

Yeah, I'd like to see them in six packs or better instead of triples, then my wife and I wouldn't have the oddball to fight over.
