black pepper and fruit

thanks to whomever posted about pairing black pepper with strawberries and other fruit. I ground some onto a honeydew and nectarine salad, tossed with fresh lime juice and sugar, for dessert tonight, and it was a resounding success.

Salt and black pepper on good canteloupe is great too. Reduced balsamic vinegar is amazing with strawberries while you're at it.
