Sometimes I buy at our local co-op (great turnover, so they're fresh), but I'm always pleased when I need 4 or 5 things so I can justify an order from Penzey's. They're so durned NICE and I've always found the quality to be very high. The one time I had a problem (bottle of vanilla leaked in its little ziploc bag), they sent a replacement that was here within days. No questions, just good cheer. Love the spices, love the herbs, love the company.

I agree, I love the spices, noticeably fresher, and a great company to deal with. I'm also enjoying their magazine, ONE, which has mostly family recipes from readers, but in an amazing variety and diversity beyond what I expected.

I made a big order from them just before the holiday baking frenzy. The Vietnameese cinnamon was the best thing I've ever baked with. The vanilla and orage extracts were wonderful. They sent me a couple of spice mix samples, too, which was great. I love free stuff!

I, too, think their Vietnamese Extra Fancy Cinnamon is the best I have ever tasted. I have purchased all their other cinnamons, but I keep using the Vietnamese over the others; they are all a little different, but the Vietnamese has a real deep cinnamon flavor.
