  • c

L.A. Chowhound Jerome won the second of his semi-final matches on the Jeopardy show that aired tonight, taking home $50,000 and earning a slot on the finals next week. Jerome will face a seconed semi-finals winner and Ken Jennings, the all-time highest money winner on Jeopardy in the finals next week. Up for grabs next week is $2,000,000 in prize money.

It's syndicated, so it depends on your local stations.

In the SF Bay Area it's on Channel 7 at 7 pm.

In Connecticut, it's also on Channel 7 at 7PM.

In Chicago, the show comes on at 3:30pm on channel 7.

The two surviving champions face-off with record-holder Ken Jennings in a three day total point match to be broadcast May 23-25.

No, that's not what he really looks like, that is just his TV personna. I have met him, he is 35 years old, is six feet two, weighs 190 pounds, does not have glasses, has a physique like Jack LaLane, and has a bimbo on each arm at all times.

And I wonder why my life seems out of balance...My bimbo's look like Jack LaLane and my physique is that of a the Goodyear Blimpo....

I think you're thinking of Jim Leff.

You can't fool me, that's Al Roker in whiteface.

No, it's John Lovett from SNL...

I LOVE watching this guy...his facial expressions are great! He was so shocked last night when he won. Kudos to Jerome!

              Congrats and best of luck!

As a former Jeopardy! contestant (my airdate was
SF Valley earthquake day) I can attest to the fact
that it is not as easy as it looks from home!

Go Jerome...even though as a Utah resident I would
like to see the state get another chunk of revenue
thanks to Ken Jennings' prodigious vault o' trivia!

              1. well, i guess this explains the paucity of postings by jerome on the LA board in recent days. way to go, jerome!

                1. Thanks CHino Wayne.
I hope every one enjoys the next brace of shows, next week Monday -Wednesday.

we did reference one very chowy LA place in an interview earlier, handmade candies from the Monastery of the Angels in hollywood.

Yeah, I remember you talking about that in that little segment Alex does with the contestants.
