Tipping at Buffet Brunch

How much is appropriate for tipping the waitperson at a decent quality buffet brunch. The server will normally supply beverages and may, or may not clear the used plates and supply clean ones for second trips.
I always thought 10% was the norm for this level of service. Any opposing views in either direction?
