McDonald's Premium Iced Coffee

Saw the ads for this and popped in. $2.19 for their smallest size!! I turned around and walked out. Anyone try this? Is this better than Dunkin Donuts (since it is priced more)? Any idea why they are so expensive or is this just my local McDs?

    1. In Boston, I got a large for around $1.60. They are quite obviously competing with Dunkin's in my neck of the woods. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but it was tasty. Dunkin's has been too watered down to me lately... or maybe I'm just not drinking it fast enough.

Nope, your first instinct was right, it's watered down.

Thanks- I thought I was crazy. I had not had an iced coffee all winter, and over the last week or so, I have tried a Dunkin iced at three locations north of Boston ( 2 in North Reading, and one in North Andover). All tasted watered down. This weekend I made an extra pot of coffee. Into mason jars, and into the fridge- now I make my own each morning.

I always was a big fan of Au Bon Pain's iced coffee. They have those gigantic cups that hold enough coffee to keep you going all day.

Sounds great- unfortunately there are none near me! Will have to stick to homemade until I scope out another option.
