I love the oozy sugary filling, almost as much as I dislike milk chocolate. Anyone make these with dark? SFBay area or mail order availability get extra points.

Thanks.

Rubens' Chocolates makes a fabulously delicious cherry cordial with dark chocolate. They're in Champaign, Illinois (I know, it's hard to imagine, but really this is a fantastic belgian-style chocolatier deep in the heart of the prarie), but they do mail order. Not cheap, mind you, but totally worth the price.

you might try the place linked below. i didn't see dark chocolate cherry cordials on the site, but i was just in there this week, and they have things in their case that aren't on the web site. the truffles & other chocolates i've had are delicious.

LI-LAC chocolate in the Village and in Grand Central Market in NYC makes both dark and milk.

Perhaps someone could bring them back for you. They say they are too fragile to ship.

Be sure to also search for "stem cherries" in addition to "cherry cordials": stem cherries tend to be larger and better (they include the cherry stem).
