What is a Calabrian Chile?

I have a recipe that calls for a Calabrian Chile. Is this another name for something else? If not, what can I substitute for it, because I've never seen one before.

    They are small red chilies only grown in Calabria Italy. Here's a link with some info.


    I'd sub good quality dried chili flakes.

      Peperoncini are Calabrian chillis.

        Green peperoncini in a jar are Greek I think. Know to some as pizza peppers...
