Hi All,

Just wanted to call your attention to a product to which I am now addicted. I've been trying to get more fiber in the diet, but don't really have time for a bowl of cereal in the mornings. In looking for alternatives, I came across the Kashi Chewy Granola Bar, and I love them! They are so superior to like products that I've tried.

Nice texture, with nuts and cereal, great flavor (lightly sweetened, but not nearly as sweet as other brands), and good bang for the buck, so to speak: 130-140 calories a bar and 4 g. fiber.

I've tried both the Trail Mix and the Honey Almond Flax. Next up: Peanut Peanut Butter.

Dana, do you buy them in the grocery store or do you need to go to a specialty (health food) store to find them? I can find Kashi cereals just fine at Publix but have not ever seen their granola bars...thanks.

I found them at Costco, all three varieties,6 of each, packaged individually, in one box. I did't care for them as much as some of the other posters did. found them a bit dry.

I found them at my local supermarket (Gelson's in So. Cal.) They seemed to be on sale, so I'm hoping it wasn't a one-off thing. If so, it's good to know that Costco also carries them.

I'm also very pleased with them-especially the lightly sweentened part. Two "regular" grocery stores in my SE PA area carry them. I think they are new-I haven't seen them advertized.

I bought the Kashi trail mix granola bars. (on sale at Shop Rite). I'm no big fan of granola bars and I liked these pretty well. Nice texture. Not sure I like all the cranberries.
I plan to try the peanut butter ones next.
