I used to buy my sister Rain Forest Crunch every year for Christmas, but they stopped making it. Can you suggest a candy or cookie gift that is so wonderful that it will make her forget all about it? And that I can buy online at the last minute, which is fast approaching?

Personally, I've got my heart set on pralines this year, and you can support NOLA merchants by buying them online. Here's one:

Through some tragic major life oversight, I have never eaten pralines. But in fact they look not entirely unlike Rain Forest Crunch - buttery and nutty, if not crunchy. Intriguing.

Hmm, might be safest to order some for myself first - such a terrible sacrifice...

The CEO of my company affixed my Christmas bonus check to the top of a one pound box of Enstrom's toffee. The check was good, the toffee was great. I suppose that says something about my priorities. I just finished the box, which drove me online in search of more. Now I know what crack addiction must feel like.

Ordered a box because of all the oohs and ahs here.
I also ordered the toffee popcorn. They were out of the crumbles and the dark chocolate toffee...sending out 40,000 orders per day!
Does anyone have any hints for the crumbles? How to use them? Can you just smash up some toffee and use it?

Love Nuts from Comparte's. Dangerously addictive. Very satisfying crunch. I love the macadamias, but for a gift you should get a mixed batch.
