So, I hear the Today Show mention chocolate tea. I never knew such a thing existed. Any recs for a good chocolate tea? Any to avoid?

Doing a search, Adagio seems to infuse the tea leaves with chocolate. No calories.

Of course, I found a place that has chocolate bits. I'm some sort of calorie magnet attracting anything with the most calories. But these 15 blends sound beyond fabulous ... Black Tea, Chocolate Bits, Orange Peel.

There are other chocolate tea blends with cardamom or blood orange or mint or ginger ... and some decaf.

Actually many of their tea blends look fabulous. Any exerience with this company or chocolate tea in general?

I bought some Serendipitea not long ago for myself and a friend because I just couldn't resist it after smelling the samples at a local store. I got the Cocoa Loco for a friend, who said it was really good. For myself, I got Charlie Chan Cha, which is fantastic.

you might be able to find "lamsa" tea at an indian grocer. it's pretty tasty! use half lamsa and half regular black tea (or all lamsa, but half and half usually has enough flavor for me), make it strong (boil it in the water for a few minutes), add evaporated milk and sugar. mmmm...

What is lamsa? Does it come in the same jar/bottle/tin as the tea? Do you buy it separately and mix it in?

Not being modest at all, I'm pretty good at Google, but all I can find about lamsa is religions references or info about weapons systems with Google's charming quirk of throwing in a few references to lamas ... lama tea ... that can't be good.

i can't find any pictures, but i came up with lots of results for stores that sell it by searching for "lamsa tea" on google.

the last time i bought it, it game as loose tea in a bag. it's just chocolate flavored tea.

Oh my Lord, they DO look fabulous! You're not only a calorie magnet, but a carrier as well. Did you see anywhere on the site exactly HOW many calories we are talking about? If it's alot, I'll just have cocoa, thanks. Nor could I find any shipping cost info.

I need to a) loose weight and b) stop wasting so much money mail-ordering food. The two could be related.

Please post if you get some and let us know what you think.

I tried the Adagio version, and while it is a nice tea, it does not IN ANY WAY scream chocolate, incredibly mild flavor. I was disapointed. I like a lot of their other teas though, and they sell a sample size (in these cute tins that are lining my bookshelf at work) for just $2 for most teas, so you can try it, and the shipping is pretty cheap $3.75. My fave that I ordered was the white peach; it has all the delicious fruitiness of an herbal tea without that drying quality that i find herbals to have. hope that makes sense.
