I just discovered this product from Vermont Butter and Cheese and it's probably the best fat-free item I've ever tasted.

I was in the habit of using Bellwether (a Northern Calif producer) fromage blanc and Washington's Appel Farms fat-free quark on fresh fruit but this can replace both since its texture and flavor are like a combination of the two, and it doesn't have the saturated fat content of the Bellwether.

Whole Foods charges $4 for an 8-ounce container; other stores charge even more.
