Unfortunately, it can't be a cava or a prosecco (which is what I usually use) for reasons that are too silly to go into. I'm actually looking for a French non-champagne sparkler that can stand up to the sweetness of the creme de cassis...preferably something fairly widely marketed and at a lower price point. Any ideas?
