What is a nice non runny hot sauce for sandwiches ?

I love tabasco but it is way to watery.

I've used vietnamese siracha
Used thai sweet chili sauce.
used some oily chinese hotsauce that are found in noodle resturants. I strain out the oil before using.

don't like the korean spicy paste.

any other suggestions ?

Mmmmmmmm......that sounds good. A great little sub place that used to be in Sperryville, VA used crushed red peppers on their subs (almost the consistency of a relish) and it fit the bill. I would love to try that buffalo sauce on a chicken sandwich.

if you like Tabasco then you should try their green jalapeño sauce. it is not as runny because it has a modified cornstarch emulsifier in it. I use it all the time a find it fantastic. also try to find a chilly sauce called "sambal batjak' or "sambal oelek" the best brand is by "conimex" but any sambals produced in Indonesia or Malaysia will do fine. the stuff is great on a peanut butter sandwich. it is like the so called "5th flavor. once you start eating it you can't stop. (maybe that is not so good..?) cheers

I second to agree with the Matouk's salsa flambeau. My husband is obsessed with it! We received our first bottle in Antigua (there it was labelled MP's salsa flambeau). It was a gift from the young man (Jamal) who was our cab driver the entire time we were there. It sat in a cabinet for a year or so and last spring my husband opened it-wow is it hot!

If you like the Sriracha, you are gonna love this. Look for the same company's product which is called Tuong Ot Toi Vietnam. It comes in a wide mouth jar, and the product is thick, so you can spoon out the amount you are looking for. It is a bit hotter than their Sriracha. It's got the same chile-garlic flavor, but it is noticeably less sweet than the Sriracha. I've included a photo below.

My personal favorite for flavor is Sontava. Their fluorescent orange habanero sauce is galactic. Out of Houston, I think, can't get it in the Bay Area, but found in many airport gift shops throughout the Southwest.
