<content>Hi I can't seem to find an answer to this. Please help

If you buy beer cold...don't have room in the fridge...can you leave it at room temperature...then re refrigerate it? Does it go bad? Or is this just an old wives tale?

Thanks!

<content>I don't think you will have a problem storing once cold beer at room temps. But keep in mind that beer is a perishable item and won't be so fresh after a few months (except for most bottle conditioned beers). It won't kill you to drink it, it just won't be as good as fresh beer.

Beer is effected by light (causes skunkiness) and extreme temperature changes/range, so if you have bottles, keep them out of the light and keep them relatively cool (under 60 F), they'll be fine for a while.
