Touje' vla

  • a

Does anyone remember Touje vla? It was a pourable chocolate pudding. I remember loving it, but I haven't seen it for years. I am looking for a brand of pudding or a recipe that approximates the taste of that stuff. Any of you chowhounds know of something that will satisfy my craving?

I remember Touje, I worked there for awhile. I bet if you looked hard enough you could find a recipe for it on the internet. I loved Touje I miss it to.

years later and i still think about this stuff. i just thought i'd post an update because i have found some websites that sell campina brand vla. i haven't tasted it yet but if you do a search for campina vla you'll find them. it is about $5.50 for about 2 lbs.

    2. I used to work for Touje. Unfortunately the company went under and was purchased by the company that owns Sunny Delight. I guess they decided not to do anything with it. I think it's too bad as the best perk of my job was taste testing and eating the samples. The product is Dutch in origin if that helps.
      Good luck in your search.

I used to work for Touje in early 1987, what is your name maybe I remember you. I was the receptionist for about 6 months or more. My name was Doreen Baskerville. Wasn't Touje delicious?
