I like 3 parts carrot, 1 part celery first thing in the morning. It doesn't separate like apple-carrot does.

Also carrot-lemon-ginger. Variety apple, like pure Fuji or Granny Smith.

Cucumbers are powerful, but a little peeled cuke with anything is a great tonic.

If you're into the funky stuff, kale-beet-carrot is deeply green tasting and kale has lots of minerals.

Pears are coming in season, which are good also with lemon and ginger.

If you come up with any good ones, post back?</content>

<content>One of my favorite juices from Cafe Poca Cosa down in Tucson (and I'm hoping the person who recently posted about aguas frescas is reading this) was a blend of pineapple and fresh basil. It sounds odd at first, but when you try it... oooooo it's heaven in a glass.</content>

<content>Wow, are you disciplined. Every morning?

I came home after a week with a "juicer" person, so learned a little (though I still prefer eating the whole, raw foods for the fiber and add a vitamin pill)

You can make the veggie juices into "smoothies" by adding homemade kefir or some good yogurt. Great enzymes. (I was surprised homemade kefir is ready in only about three days!)

And, you can have three kinds of juices in smaller amounts a one time rather than all of the stuff in one glass. How about one veggie, one veggie yogurt, and one fruit?

Carrot, cucumber, yogurt, and curry is good. Add sage if you like it (unless you're pregnant. Sage is an astringent and expectorant and will dry up the breast milk.) Add mango if you like it.

A carrots and beets mix is good with a little cinnamon.

Or carrots, beets, and basil (basil is high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium and iron)

Or, pickled beets, carrots, and cucumber with yogurt, add some fennel for flavor (an expectorant), or add some hibusicus to make it even tarter and sweeter. (hibusicus decreases excessive acidity of the stomach.)

I had the beets, carrot, kale, and cucumber mix recently, but had to add some herbs and spices and some honey. I would have added less kale, but maybe it's an acquired taste for all those nutrients.

Add some herbs and spices for extra benefits and flavor. See, http://www.truestarhealth.com/Notes/3609007.html
and
"herb blurbs" at http://moonriseherbs.com/

A restaraunt mentioned on the LA board offers a tomatoe/yogurt cold soup. Good lycopene and enzymes. I googled up this recipe that was kind of good. http://www.recipesource.com/soups/soups/07/rec0778.html

That's all I've learned so far in my "eat more raw foods" chapter in life.

And, on the fruit side, there are even more recipes.

From the truestart site:
4 cups (520g) blackberries (or blueberries if you like them)
1/2 cup (120mL) raspberry lemonade
1 1/2 cups (360g) plain nonfat or soy yogurt
Fresh mint, chopped

Maybe someone with the Jack LaLanne juicer cookbook will find you.
