Liquorice Altoids

I finally managed to snag a pack of liquorice Altoids at Pittsburgh Airport today and I am pleased as punch with them. The aroma of liquorice snuck out of the plastic wrapping around the tin (since it had a little tear in it) and then really wafted out when I opened it. To my surprise they are white, not black, but they had a very nice minty-liquoricey flavor that I found addictive.

Are they making their way into stores generally, or do I have to visit Pittsburgh more frequently to keep my stash alive?

    1. I've seen them and the ginger ones at Trader Joe's and either Rite Aid or Walgreens. (Sorry, I forget which.)

        1. I bought them last week in a mom and pop store near San Francisco. I like them also. The package ingrediants seem to indicate there is real licorice in them. I think they are my favorite Altoid followed by tangerine.

            1. Thanks for mentioning these! I've been buying Necco Wafers just for the couple licorice disks per pak. I found these at Rite Aid, and they hit the spot!
