Satay vs. Sacha
I thought the latter was Taiwanese for the former...which is either Mandarin or Cantonese, I suppose. And yet I see both of them side by side in the Lee Kum Ki line. Apparently they are different things.
What is the difference?
Had "Squid in Satay Sauce" in a restaurant today and it tasted nothing like peanut butter...which I thought was the whole key to "satay". Certainly it has been in any Thai restaurant I've been in. Does Chinese satay mean something else, or is that where "sacha" comes in?
