Only then did it hit me that I've never dealt with fresh guava....never really even made a guava-based recipe before. Just got suckered in by the sweet smell. I want to make something (dessert) for this weekend- any suggestions? Some sort of guava glaze for cheesecake? Or is it good on it's own? Tarts? Something with Pineapple? Sugestions greatly welcomed. Already search epicurious but couldn't find much at all. I don't have an ice cream maker so sorbets and the like are out since I can't watch granita that closely. Thanks!!
