caldo caldo caffe?

Has anyone tried this stuff? It's a individual serving container of coffee, lemon tea, or hot chocolate, with a little heating element under the cup that gets activated by pushing a button and shaking the container. It sounds extremely weird, but I'm pretty curious.

If I'm not mistaken, some MREs (meals read to eat) have a self-heating element so soldiers can enjoy a hot meal out in the field.

Yes, it definitely sounds cool and I'd like to try it once. Wish I'd known about it before I went to Italy. I wonder how it tastes.... They have another product called Freddo Freddo that seems to be instant iced coffee.

I've tried the Freddo Freddo. It's a shot of espresso with added sugar. You press the bottom of the cup and then shake it for a minute or two to make it cold. While it was fun to see the drink turn icy cold, I can't say that I was impressed by the drink very much. The coffee was moderately strong, but along with the added sugar it left a wierd aftertaste in my mouth.
