Wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a home panini press? Is the Krups a decent option? There are a couple in the < $100 range and then a bunch of big-buck guys. Anyone with experience on the cheaper models please comment.

Thanks!

Me too. The only caveat is that it only really fits two sandwiches at a time -- if you need to make more than two sandwiches simultaneously, you'll have to buy two.

I have the Krups and I love it and use it all the time. If I'm making fuller sandwiches, I do weigh it down with a heavy pan. Otherwise, it works just fine. I did quite a bit of research before I bought this one and the general consensus was that people really like it.
