<content>Sure, it's Bill Yoss's Meyer Lemon Pound cake.

I've made this with and without the mint ice and raspberry coulis. It's fantastic on it's own (and toasted the next day with a thin layer of cream cheese on it -- whoa baby!), but the three things together -- the sweet/tart yellow cake, the sweet green minty ice, and the sourish red rasberry sauce -- is nothing short of inspired. This is an example of what a great chef can do, not only with individual components, but combining them together in truly wonderful and rewarding ways.

This is one of my favorite desserts to give to company. Occasionally I find people who dislike mint, and I just leave the mint ice off of it. It's still a lovely dessert. Also, I don't put the mint ice directly on the cake as Mr. Yoss suggests. I serve it in small sorbet cups right on the dessert plates. Do as you like -- either way is good. I just find the mint ice melts very quickly and can get the plate a little too watery in a short period of time.

Enjoy!
