Has anyone noticed that MB's hot chocolate mix seems to have gone downhill? My first experience with the Aztec mix was last January: I picked up a bag at the SoHo store and it was the most delicious hot chocolate I had ever had -- far, far superior to Angelina's and L.A. Burdick's -- absolutely amazing. This past December, I picked up a new box at Neiman Marcus (since I live in So. California) and was sorely disappointed -- chalky, less sweet and without the magical flavor of the previous box. I called MB -- no the formula hasn't changed, I was told. I ordered a fresh box from the MB website (hoping that perhaps the NM batch had been a fluke) -- not chalky this time, but not the same ethereal hot chocolate as before (and a lot thicker, as they seem to have added cornstarch to the ingredient list).
