I'd appreciate suggestions as to which model I should get him (800/120/??) and any complaints and/or praise you might have for this product. My thoughts are that the Foodsaver is an appliance we might potentially get a lot of use out of, but I wonder if it's one of those purchases you use once, learn it was too much effort for too little benefit, then stuff it into the back of a hardly used cupboard.
