Smart Balance Plus

Can Smart Balance Plus be used in baking?
I've never used it, so I don't know. Why not experiment with it (not for Thanksgiving dinner, tho) and see how it works in different dishes, then let us know.
I use Smart Balance in any baking that calls for butter. We (that includes children) love the baked goods.
My wife and kids made me some cranberry scones from the American Heart Association Cookbook -- the recipe calls for Smart Balance as well as Egg Beaters.
The scones were outstanding! And I am a scone lover. The kids loved them too -- and what kid not even 5 eats scones? So the answer is yes!
