I had a wonderful day on Saturday at the Farmer's market. We walked around and tasted some cherries and dried kiwis and ended up having a seat at the Wine Merchant. We had a lovely syrah rose by flying cloud, a bone dry reisling from Austria and our other friend a glass of proseco. I went down to the creamery and the woman who helped me was wonderful. I told her about the wines we were drinking and she got me a wedge of humboldt fog and a pyrenese cheese I don't remember the name of (won't attemtp to spell is more accurate). With some wonderful fennel crackers and my cheeses I headed back to the wine merchant. The cheese went beautifully with the wines. By the time we left we were some very happy ladies.
