I am having some friends for an erev yom kippur dinner, the night before the fast. One of my guests is on the Atkins diet, and I don't know much about it. Can anyone suggest what I can make? I already have brisket in the freezer, which I will serve. My guest can eat some vegetables, but I don't know which ones. Thanks so much. Happy New Year to all.

Brisket of course, and veggies like cabbage and broccoli and cauliflower, and salad greens. Any oils and butters, maybe flavored oils. Berries. The atkins website has good recipes.

Atkins.com, the Atkins website, has lots of recipes, including a number of vegetable, salad and side dish recipes. Also, desserts.
