Does anyone have a workable recipe for this type of topping? I've tried the ones in Fannie Farmer's Baking Book (Marion Cunningham) and in the Breadmaker's Companion, but they don't measure up to the topping I remember from childhood in London, Ontario...even regular commercial mass bakeries made a very nice bread with this topping.
Any help appreciated.
