<content>Here's a link to a post of mine giving ideas for BBQing tofu and tempeh. I've never BBQ'ed seitan, but imagine it would work for it.

There's a place here in San Francisco, Jay's Cheesesteak, that I love for their vegetarian Seitan Cheesesteaks. They slice it really thin and fry it with onions. Serve on a soft roll with all the usual fixins. Yum.

<content> I like to make a very spicy jerk tofu and peas and rice.if you slice tofu and then freeze it over night it has a better texture for this dish. Soak some ( 1 cup) black eyed peas over night. Cook till soft. Hopefully there will be about 1 cup of liquid left. Add 1 cup rice, I like short grain brown, and cook till tender, and all liquid is absorbed. Separately, saute 1 block tofu, chopped roughly, with a liberal amount of olive oil, a little soy, 1 cup chopped green onions and a healthy amount ( 3-5 tablespoons) of bottled jerk seasoning, I use Walkerswood. Really cook the tofu so it gets some crispy edges.
Then add the rice and peas, saute a bit more. That's it.
