I haven't tried it, but I am skeptical that changing the physical structure of the oil has no long-term health effects. Look what we've found out about hydrogenated oils. I'll wait a few years before trying this latest "magic bullet" for weight loss.

First I've heard of it. A mix of canola oil and soybean oil. 30% of daily Vitamin E. Doesn't store as fat, but goes directly to your liver because of a processing method that changes the shape of the molecule.

"The joint venture between Archer Daniels Midland Company and Kao Corporation of Japan that brought Enova oil to the United States – converts the triacylglycerol (TAG) oil from natural soy and canola oils into a mixture that is at least 80 percent DAG oil."

I just heard of Enova oil. I have always been overweight as I am today. If anyone stops and looks around, Japan does not have the overweight problems and other health problems as us Americans have. I am a firm believer that this could be something wonderful for all of us.

Especially us that are overweight and love haveing Mayonaise, maybe the people could still make the products with healthier food in them. Insurance companies wonder why they are out so much money on people as a whole and if we knew the health things that are safe, maybe we could get companies to cook that way and start selling healthier products.

I have used enova oil for several months now. I don't have a weight problem, but I do try to eat healthy products. I do not yet know if I have benefitted in any health related way, but I can tell you the oil is basically as flavorless as canola oil. I have never had any problems with the oil, and will reorder it when I run out.

My wife just bought this Enova oil and she and my two sons, 4 & 6 years old, chowed down salads with this oil as the base for their salad dressing (vinegar & oil). A few hours later, at bedtime, my 6 year old complained his whole stomach and abdomen area was hurting. He woke up around midnight and threw up a bunch of food he had eaten earlier. Coincidence??? Maybe. When I saw the Enova oil I asked my wife what it was. She told me and I immediately figured that was the problem... not cool to give kids an "appetite suppressant" or any other kind of food or diet product that isn't metabolized normally by the body. Unless the child has some obesity problem, there's absolutely no reason to give a child such a product... who knows how it could effect their growth or health in general???!!!!!! DON'T GIVE KIDS ENOVA OIL!!!!!!!!!!
