        <content>So I'm having some friends over soon for a little eggnog. It'll be Martha Stewart's boozy rendition (link below). 
 
Aside from some christmas cookies and such, is there anything else that you all tend to serve with your eggnog? It's such a heavy drink, I can't think of much.

      <content>I think you're right, not a lot is needed when really good eggnog is served --it's almost a meal in itself! For contrast, maybe some beautiful fruit--berries, pineapple, orange slices, kiwi--something with a little sharpness to offset the eggnog's richness. Can't picture veggies or cheese with this--have fun! Let us know what you end up serving!</content>
