Expiration for frozen meat
Anyone know how long meat (esp. beef, but all kinds) can stay freezer before it should be thrown away.
Also, I wrap it in foil, then place it in a ziplock. Any better suggestions as to that?
I think depending on the cut of beef, usually up to 12 months. Although I've kept stuff for a bit over a year when it fell to the bottom of my chest freezer, and it was fine, with very minor freezer burn that I was able to cut off.
