I have a suspicion that that means they won't work. Am I right?</content>

I think that your cookware has to have an iron or steel core. I may be wrong.
 
There is a great brand of French cookware that works with an induction stovetop, but the name is eluding me.
 
They sell them at Zabar's in New York City.</content>
