        <content>Apparently the US Gov is sending out recipe books for those on diabetics' diets.  It was compiled by Graham Kerr.  
 
You can obtain it for free.  I believe the number to call is 800-438-5383, but I didn't have a pen handy.  If not, check with US Gov Publ. office, library, or Am Diabetics Assn.  </content>

      <content>There is a wealth of information for diabetics at the National Institute  of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, which is an appendage of the National Institutes for Health, which is an arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 
 
You can download or order information by mail, much of the material is free.  (I think they charge for bulk orders.)
