Or cakes in general... Any thoughts? I'm looking for something really decadent.

  1. i'm not sure if they have what you're looking for, but Black Hound does mail order.

    1. Desserts by David Glass. Totally rich and decadent. A little piece goes a long way.

I really like the Ultimate Chocolate Truffle Cake

      1. Gambino's Red Velvet Cake.
It's the best red velvet cake I've ever found (chocolate cake with red dye).
You can close your eyes and see it. Now that's good cake.

        1. I saw your posting, but have hesitated to answer it. I have provided a link for Desserts by Tasha Nicole, but I feel a little bit guilty about doing so. Once you have had the first bite, you can never go back...their cakes are so delicious they might as well be lacing them with opiates.

You will see from their website they have many, many varieties of chocolate (as well as other) cakes, but I will likely never overcome my addiction to their German Chocolate Cake. I thought I baked a fabulous German Chocolate Cake..until I tasted theirs. It is a many layered, moist chocolate cake with layers of caramel pecan coconut filling and an OUTRAGEOUSLY THICK CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING slathered all over the outside of it...and then another generous topping of the caramel pecan coconut goop. Oh, I quiver just to think of that cake...and that's not even their "signature" cake, or what they are most famous for, it is just my personal favorite. I don't think their cookies or tortes are anything to write home about, but their cakes are outrageous.
