Pennsylvania has the best selection of potato chips in the country. Lots of small, local brands. I visited a friend near Harrisburg a few years ago. We went to this huge supermarket and they had one aisle with nothing but dozens of brands of potato chips.

Recently, in Bethlehem, PA I bought and tasted "Grandma Utz's" potato chips, which are fried in pure lard. Tasted good, but left a greasy mouth feel. I wonder why. YUK YUK.

I know what you mean. The crunch with the grandma utz is nice, but they are a little to... much.

Try the old fashioned, I think that's what they're called. Whatever their name, they are the ones whose ingredients list is potatoes, peanut oil, salt.

you can't argue with that, that's fewer ingredients than Kozy Shack rice pudding.

That would be the Utz "Kettle Classics" or something very similar sounding. Foil bag with (surprise!) a picture of a kettle. Knocks the knickers off Grannie's recipe.
