There have been several posts about Empire Kosher turkeys. I am thinking of trying one, but when I tried an Empire whole chicken, I had to spend hours taking off feathers! Are the turkeys the same way?

No, the kosher turkeys are already de-feathered.

Since they are kosher, however, they have already been salted and thus you do not need to brine them prior to cooking. Just shove it in an oven according to directions and baste it occassionally.
