That's shocking news about Georgie's. What's the story? I always assume that a bakery that runs out of its products on a regular basis is doing O.K., and I know Georgie's had a decent wholesale business going.

The Better Crust has been closed for some time now. I
found out the hard way last Thanksgiving. The previous
Thanksgiving the New York Times ran an article about
how the son of the owner had just taken over the
operation after the death of his mother who had been
the owner. I guess he just wasn't up to it. I don't
know what happened to Georgie's. Maybe they just got
tired. I hope it wasn't because of the new Crispie
Cream store that is just down the block from them.

By the way, where's Jim's book?
