ISO Authentic & Delicious Sangria Recipe

Anybody got a line on an Authentic/Fantastic Sangria recipe.

Any help would be much obliged.

    Here' the one I use, best to make it Wednesday or Thursday for the weekend. Try varying the fruit, you have to keep the citrus, but beyond that peaches/nectarines/ mangoes all work.

      I made this last weekend and it was a big hit:

      Sangria Blanca

      Recipe By: Food Network

      Serving Size: 10
      Cuisine:
      Main Ingredient:

      -= Ingredients =-
      2 bottles White wine ; such as sauvignon blanc
      1/2 cup Spanish sherry
      1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur ; (recommended: Cointreau)
      1/4 cup sugar
      1/2 bunch seedless white grapes
      1 lemon, unpeeled and sliced
      2 peaches, Peaches ; as required
      1/2 honeydew, Honeydew melon ; seeded, and diced
      1/2 liter club soda

      -= Instructions =-
      Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Serve immediately, or if making in advance, refrigerate up to 24 hours, and then add the club soda just before serving.

        What kind of sherry did you use---sweet, medium, very dry or what?

          Tyler recommends sweet. Our bottle doesn't identify it as sweet or dry.
