Strawberry Daquiri recipe?
Can't find my recipe anywhere, but remember it took rum (can't remember light or dark), and I put fresh strawberries, strawberry ice (like gelato), ice cubes..can't remember the portions though for a blender full...help anyone?
I would just improvise -- throw your ingredients into the blender along with the juice of a couple of lemons and some rum, and taste. You can add more sugar or lemon juice if needed. My husband makes them with frozen strawberries in syrup and some ice cubes, and usually throws in a package of raspberries as well.

I'll second the idea to improvise, but here's what I did last night for half a pitcher:
three ice cubes
a shot of light rum
six cubes of frozen strawberries
two tablespoons sugar syrup
juice of one lemon
That was just my starting mixture. I definitely fiddled around with it after the initial blending. You'll probably need to add a little water (or rum) to get it to the right consistency. I try not to put too much liquid in initially to prevent big chunks of ice.
Thanks, I ended up doing just that, improvising. I made a blender full, and used about 9 strawberries, about 1 cup of strawberry ice (gelati), about 1 1/2 tbs of sugar, about 8 or 9 ice cubes, about 6 oz of light rum, and about little over an ounce of fresh lime juice....it came out pretty good. Thanks for the advice!
