For father's day, I'd like to get my husband a pressure cooker cookbook, as he's recently re-discovered his pressure cooker. He's a beginner cook and pressure cooker cook. We eat a veriety of cuisines and will probably use the book for weekday, quick, one-pot dinners. Any recommendations?

I have only one book, it's by Lorna Sass and is called Cooking Under Pressure (or something close to that). It's a very good basic book with lots of tips about cooking different foods, i.e., beans, meat, stocks, etc.

I've had it for quite a while so I don't know its print/out of print status.

I have two cookbooks that I enjoy using for pressure cooking but I can't think of the names/authors off-hand. I'll write them down over the weekend and then post on Monday. If you don't see anything from me shoot me an e-mail to remind me!

Hi,

I'll also recommend Lorna Sass' books, and I have another book "Pressure Cooking for Dummies" that I like also, it's one of the yellow ___ (fill in the blank) for Dummies series.
