      <content>I think brown sauce is more of an east coast thing, but below is the recipe for an all purpose Chinese sauce.
 
2/3 cup of low sodium chicken broth
1 Tbs of oyster sauce
1 Tbs of dark soy
1/2 tsp of sugar
1 Tbs of cornstarch
dash of sesame oil and white pepper.</content>
