How to prepare boneless beef short ribs?

  • m

I bought a package (a little over 2 pounds) of boneless beef short ribs at the grocery store today. They look really good, but I have never cooked them before. Does anyone have any favorite recipes or tips for preparation? Can I use a slow cooker or pressure cooker? Thanks for any ideas!

  1. I made this Suzanne Goin recipe a few months ago in a crockpot. It was exceellent. Though they specify the flanken style ribs, I have used other rib cuts with very good results.

    1. Line a covered roasting pan (a smaller version of a turkey roaster) with enough aluminum foil to cover the entire dish after contents are added. Place the ribs on the foil, cover with barbecue sauce and then with thinly sliced onions. Cover tightly with the foil and then the roaster lid. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. I often also make noodles or rice, as this recipe gives off a nice sauce. Serve with a veggie and/or salad and dinner rolls and you have a yummy dinner that is quick, easy and tasty.
