My children just gave me an early mother's day gift. If you have one of these, what do you use it for? Are there breakfast type items you can cook in it? Does it also function as a regular indoor grill? I'm thinking yes. Any vegetarian/dairy/fish recipes appreciated (we are kosher and will use it only for dairy and parve).

Well, there is the obvious answer.... paninis, but that's the kind of answer that gets a "gee thanks.. @$$hole...."

I use mine to make brochettes, (meat, chicken, shrimp, veggie) Just use your fave marinade, and your set, a barbecue substitute
(but only for "grilling" purposes, not actual bbq'ing ie. steaks, chops, salmon, veggies etc) Panini grills are remarkedly like George Foreman Grills, and a search on google for "george foreman frill recipes" or "indoor grill recipes" will ger you tonnes. (Searching "Panini Press recipes" or "Panini Grill Recipes" will just get panini recipes)

I picked up one of these at a thrift store for $5.99! Even if I just used it for grilled cheese (and variations thereof) I'd be thrilled--so fast and so tasty! (I'm thinking of trying quesadillas.)
