churro report PART 2....i have a winner!
okay so after my last post...i still felt unsatisfied. did a google search and looked through recipes that could be different from the ones i tried, and tried to pick one that could be a possible winner.
here it is. perfectly crispy on the outside and a creamy custard in the middle. not bready, not stale. just light and delicious.
1 c water
1/4 c butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 T sugar
1 c all purpose flour
1/3 c cream
bring the water, butter, salt, and sugar to a boil.
stir in the flour ALL AT ONCE and keep stirring until it forms a glossy ball...
add in the eggs and mix until this is fully combined.
then do the same with the cream.
put it in to a piping bag and pipe into 350-375 degree oil until golden.
roll around in a cinnamon/sugar mixture.
YUM! the best!!!!! and easy as can be!
