I just did a search on the topic - all of the posts from the General Topics Board are at least two years old. Are there any new products on the market - pepper mills? Nothing electronic - I'm familiar with the product and sold it for a short time in a restaurant where I was a manager - don't ask:( I live in the Los Angeles area - The last one that I purchased for my husband as a Christmas gift gave out after two years. We tend to use it and use it, perhaps too strenuously. We need something that can take a little loving abuse!

Thank you in advance!

I use a perfex-love it. It's easy to "load" via a front pouch, I like the fact that it has a handle rather than a twist mechanism, and the adjustibility is easy. As stated, it's expensive, but a super quality product that will last a long time. (I think it's cute looking, too)

I have a Magnum Plus and I love it. Huge output and really fast. I've had several brands in the past that I didn't like as well. I bought it after reading a review of peppermills in a cooking magazine somewhere.

here's a link to a recent discussion of pepper mills. I am devoted to the Unicorn line -- I have had the pepper gun for many years, and have purchased the Magnum plus for friends. Am thinking of getting the mini-mill to tote to restaurants.
Here's the website www.peppergun.com

I have one of the natural wood mills from the site below. I absolutely love it. The guy is a former timpanist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra who wanted a better pepper mill so he designed one himself. Great output and it looks great too.

I've bought and been pleased with Mr. Dudley brand pepper mills. Mr. Dudley (wonder if there is a real Mr. Dudley - or is it just the name of a giant Chinese pepper mill cartel?) JUST makes pepper mills. So if "he" has a website you might check it out to see what's new and hot in peppermills these days.

Actually, I should do that myself - I'd like to find a mill that grinds the large kosher salt flakes into powder.
