I was given a flea market sale copy of the Complete Galloping Gourmet Cookbook-- it's so enormous, and the pictures are so old-fashioned, that I have put off paging through it in search of plausible recipes. Anyone have any favorites?

TIA.

I'd be curious too. After looking at one of his cookbooks, I couldn't find anything I wanted to make. Although, I *LOVED* his show when I was a kid. He single-handedly got me interested in cooking.

I've got a couple of his books, not this particular one. I'll take a look for your recipe. Any other information? Like was it from a certain country's cuisine or ccoking with wine?
