Hi, I am looking for a recipe that will recreate this cookie. It's a chocolate meringue cookie with nuts, that is crunchy on the outside and a chewy brownie consistancy on the inside..... if you have tasted the cookies at brisol farms in Los Angleles you'd know what i mean. If you have any recipe that makes a chewy meringue cookie, that would be great too.

thanks!

Look at the Chocolate Brownie Cookie recipe on Epicurious it is also in Caludia Flemming's The Last Course. You can put in nuts, I use toasdted chopped hazelnuts, Sharffen Berger cacao nibs are good too, miniature chocolate chips are another possibility. The batter is leavened by air so plan on the full 15 mnutes of beating. Eat them fresh, they don't hold well for very long unless you freeze them.
