I candy my own peel and save the syrup. Chopped and mixed with a few other ingredients it makes a great glaze. Did some long, slow cooked pork ribs with candied orange peel and syrup, ginger syrup, chili garlic paste, soy sauce, and orange juice. Boiled the stuff for awhile to reduce and used to brush on the ribs every now and then. really tasty.

Also good in stir frys for that orange beef taste.

I also used it chopped in a banana, walnut, orange bread.

I would add it as a condiment to a cheese plate. I bet it's fantastic with a variety of cheeses!

I love those candied citrus peels she has!

Make a decadent chocolate pots de creme or mousse and garnish the top with a few of the peels.

The syrup would be great drizzled over berries or an unfrosted cake.
